Jake came out on short notice. He was courteous and patient, told me how he was going the fix the problem and then did what he said he would do and did it efficiently. The price was about what I expected and a lot less than what I had paid previously to another company for a similar job. I will be using Taylor & Sons again. Thanks guys. -

Once again, Taylors responded to our request to "make safe" our shower, preventing scolding when another tap is turned on in the house. David had the answer. He called 30 mins before the allocated time to confirm his arrival, as promised. Job done within 1 hour and it works! We also asked him to do a couple of other tasks - "no problem" and they were done - satisfaction garranteed! Thank you Taylors -

I had plumbing issues which needed an inspection urgently before making an offer on a property and I spoke to Gary and advised him of urgency. Gary came out after an hour that day to look at the problems and offered us some valuable tips. Not only did he attend promptly, I found him very professional, honest, reliable. I would strongly recommend 'Taylor & Sons Plumbing' for any plumbing job that needs doing. I am pretty certain that Gary will be the only plumber I call upon for all future plumbing needs. -

Not a fan of the $85 call out fee - a lot of other plumbers are prepared to quote for free and also not that happy that they quote by time rather than by the job but I can't fault the professionalism nor the work. Prompt and polite. If you ever go with this company, ask for Steve if he's available. Did a great job and also a great guy. -

I am happy to recommend Taylor & Sons to anyone looking for a reliable plumbing service. I had a new washing machine delivered and discovered that my taps were faulty. Damien organised for Len to come the very next day, he arrived when he said he would, fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up before leaving. When I asked if it would be possible to come back and replace some other plumbing problems (left by a previous plumber), he didn't hesitate. Len made some recommendations, returned the next day, made the repairs, cleaned up and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Both Damien and Len made contact with me to confirm the timing of the visit - highly unusual and very much appreciated! I will be using Taylor's for all future plumbing needs at home and at my tenanted investment property. I have aready give Taylor's details to my tenant for future reference. -

I got great service from the time I rang Customer Service.... the person who spoke to me immediately sorted out whether someone was available and explained process .. and then Steve arrived. I am pleased to commend Taylor and Sons. From first contact with Alice through to job completion, service and performance was exceptional. Information was clearly and freely given and options provided. Special mention to Jake and Mitch, friendly, effective and industrious young men. Jake's work is clearly of the highest standard as are his instructions and ethics. Both Jake and Mitch went well beyond simple minimums and were helpful, balanced and proud of themselves and of their work in all respects. I am most impressed and shall certainly call again when I require more plumbing work in the future. -

TERRIFIC SERVICE! VERY HAPPY with TAYLOR & SONS!
From the first phone call, we were given top quality customer service and honest reliable workmanship. Dave was our plumber and he was fantastic - always on time, worked hard and no problem was too great. I got 6 plumbers out for quotes/advice - but chose Taylor & Sons because they were the best by far - especially when it came to honesty.
When we bought this house it came with a myriad of unforeseen problems and plumbing was one of them!! I was very nervous about the $$ involved in the work to be done. Dave talked us through each step, advised us of the best solutions which helped us decide on the best way forward. He was also creative and clever in his problem solving.
Damien in the office was also extremely helpful!
I couldn't recommend Taylor & Sons highly enough. Shop around and you might find a cheaper alternative BUT you won't find better service. I know, I tried!

Read the reviews and went with Taylor and sons. Must say was a smart choice.. Guys were upfront and straight with regards to the price and what was required from me. Had a staff complete the work at my place. Very polite, friendly and went about their work thoroughly.. Was their apprentice for the day and enjoyed having them around. Highly recommend them and will be using them again if I require any plumbing work and all my friends are going to use them as well if I can help it.. Hopefully can get them out as well the next time... Great job guys keep it up.. -

Damien, You said you would send a special plumber to address our urgent needs and indeed you did! David was FANTASTIC - no task to hard; consultative and very personable. David addressed every requirement with a great attitude and took a lot of stress off us with his calm assessment of each task we threw at him. And he followed up on each issue. He must be your most valued contracter. We thank you for entrusting our urgent requirements to him. It has been a most pleasurable and fullfilling experience.
Considering we had not engaged with Taylor & Sons previously, we were overwhelmed with your response and professionalism. We were amazed at the pace your people worked to rennovate our carport and veranda and address our many other issues. Needless to say, recommendations will follow from us.

This is the second time I've used Taylor & Sons after a very good first experience. Our hot water system died on Saturday so I called them and got through to their after hours service. They immediately ordered a new unit and had it installed by Sunday afternoon. I was once again impressed by their workmanship and fuss-free approach. Their promptness was welcomed by the whole family because we weren't without hot water for too long. They even organised the collection of the old unit. Reliable, efficient and professional service - I highly recommend Taylor & Sons. -

From the moment I called I was given the confidence that I was dealing with a professional company. They listened and understood about my blocked drains and promptly arranged a plumber to attend. I was given a courtesy call 30 minutes before they arrived which saved me from staying home all day and my drains were cleared quickly and efficiently. I also received some great advice for a planned bathroom renovation. Happy to recommend this company. -

I was able to get my two toilets fixed within 4 days of calling (non-urgent). I was given a call 30mins before the plumber was coming, as promised by the office when I first called.The tradesman was polite and friendly. However he did leave a bit of a mess and used my bathmat to mop the toilet water up off my floor (a bit of cleaning needed on my part). They also turned off my hot water system so I awoke this morning with only cold water available for a shower. However they did the job well and efficiently. Price was mediocre, I wouldn't say cheap. I think they must have been in a bit of a rush in regards to not cleaning up and leaving my hot water supply turned off!! But overall satisfied with the job compared to other experiences I have had. -

I sometimes doubt the veracity of reviews of this kind but this review is completely genuine. I strongly recommend Taylor & Sons Plumbing for any residential plumbing work. I selected them this morning through an internet search and my first impression over the telephone was one of professional and polite organisation. They appeared helpful and organised. We discussed likely costs. They agreed to come later in the day and promised they would ring when their staff were on their way. To my surprise, I received a call in the early afternoon to say their plumber was on the way! Sadly, punctuality and courteous behaviour of this kind is not everyone's experience with tradesmen. Two young men duly arrived, dressed in company uniforms. They discussed the problems and immediately went to work. The work was done quickly and cleanly. I was the person who asked for a fridge magnet - so I could use them again and recommend them to family and friends. I was so impressed that I immediately called Taylor & Sons Plumbing to express my appreciation. Do yourself a favour if you need a plumber - use reliable, helpful and professional people like Taylor & Sons Plumbing. -

Excellent service! I can't recommend highly enough. I came home from a vacation and found the gas service had been interrupted while i was away. When the gas supply was restored, all the other appliances came back on but i couldn't get the heater to work. I called another plumber and he said it will need either parts or the entire unit to be replaced and gave me quotes varying from $240 to $1350 depending on the work involved. Seeing the reviews from others, I called Taylor and sons for a second opinion. The gentleman helped me get the heater working again. It was a simple issue caused by the gas supply interruption. He explained the issue to me, talked me thru' the steps and stayed on the phone with me the whole time! And not a dime charged! I'll probly never go to any other plumber. -

Haven't had service like this for a long time. We had just moved to our new rental property and had our first night with no hot water so tried to get a plumber to come out (we are new to the area so had no contacts) and others wanted about $300 to start the hot water system for us but Taylor and Sons were prepared to talk me through lighting it over the phone. It took approximately 5 minutes of their time but made every difference to me as I now had hot water to have a decent shower after moving! Thanks so much. My landlord is just about to call you about installing a new stove and I am sure there will be plenty of other work coming your way. Keep up the wonderful work! -

Great service from start to finish.From my inital call to their follow up call within 30 minutes advising when the plumber would be on site, to the work undertaken by the plumber to fix the gas leak inside a brick wall, can only be described as excellent.
