    This place is sensational! On a Monday night in the inner northern suburbs we are devoid of any decent restaurants being open. Seeing a welcoming light on a cold Melbourne evening, we approached the Terminus Hotel for a quick bite. We were not expecting much more than the usual pub fare, but what we received was surprisingly spectacular. We ended up enjoying almost 3 delicious hours eating fabulous comfort food.

    I had the trusty chicken parma. Considering myself a bit of a parma aficionado, I have to say that it was as good as the best parmas I have eaten over the years. Real chicken breast, fresh tomato and just the right amount of ham & cheese. My other half had the pork special, which was just to die for (I had to steal his pork crackling!). We finished our meal with a fudgy chocolate pistachio pudding, and a new take on the Eton mess.

    This place (as you would expect being a pub) has a great selection of beers on tap, and some nice drops by the glass.

    I have now found my new winter hideout, and thankfully it is always open on a Monday (the day I least feel like coming home to cook dinner!)
