The food is really fresh and delicious here! Except the portions are a small and not enough meat in the dish.

I love Thai Riffic. It's in a good location, easy parking, huge space so getting a seat is never a problem, fun interiors, dimly lit with a modern Asian feel, affordable, byo, nice staff and tasty Thai food. My only negative thing to say is that when I went here recently their servings had seriously decreased in size. I'm not a huge eater and don't need big meals, however the prices are still the same as they always have been but you don't get as much food for it. We each ordered a stir fry each as we usually would and with no rice, however we were all a bit puzzled when they came out with just a tiny serving on the plate. We ended up having to order rice because it wasn't going to fill us. Still delicious Thai though and I will probably still go back despite this!

We went there on a Sunday evening a few weeks back and found that this place is now called "In The Mood For Thai", one of the names under the Thai Riffic group.

The decor and ambience is similar to Thai Riffic Newtown, although I would really say that the place is very quiet. We ordered the duck salad and a chicken curry and they are enjoyable (although not excellent).

One thing that is lack from this restaurant is the staff's ability to communicate (although I would say that they are quite friendly and attentive). When my mate asked for which curry they would suggest, the waitress went totally nervous and refused to provide any suggestion. We also spotted a couple of locals who requested for the portable heater to be moved away from near their table because it was too warm, and they did not seem to understand and left the heater as is.

If you would ask me to come back, I surely will. With free on-street parking, quiet atmosphere, and quick service, talking to the staff would be the least of my worries.
