The Baxter truly gives u that back in time feel with its 1920's decor, saloon style barmen & the great variety of whiskey walk to wall. The baxter is located down an alley way which if u blink u will miss it but I highly recommend u scope this classy lil gem out. As they don't take bookings be prepared to wait in the lineup if u can't get out of work early & as they only serve pretzels I recommend pre-dinner drinks here before moving on to get some food. This is my new favorite cocktail bar in the whole of Sydney, tucked away down a dark alley way, and down a few fire stairs to this underground 1920's feel, funky bar. Pretzels are served on entry, if you love whiskey you'll love this place. I don't drink brown spirits so they do have aged Gin/Vodka etc. Its a must to visit.
