This cafe must have the best view in Australia. Sit out on the old wharf and watch the Seaplanes land on Pittwater. The coffee was good and a they had a chunky bacon egg roll for $8 - not too bad given it's Palm Beach.

The best Cafe, love catching the ferry over from the central coast, it is just the best day out and a great way to meet up with friends from Sydney, Waiters are as good looking as the food !!!

Yesterday i ventured to Palm Beach for a midweek adventure and while looking for Summer Bay stubbled across this delightful little cafe. It looks slightly ram-shackled from the front but walk inside and the whitewashed walls cray pot lamp shades and rustic wooden furniture is completely fitting for the surrounds and the delightful coastal menu.

The setting it divine, quant and relaxed one can only image it would be the perfect venue for an intimate wedding or function and the food and wine lists are fabulous, in fact the worst thing about it is trying to select something off the simple but modern and fresh menu.

Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and fast and the food is truly scrumptious, i particularly loved the way in which the food was presented it was quirky but completely fitting, i am salivating at the thought of their fresh fish and hand cut chips fabulously delicious!

Being too good is it's only downfall.
This place is so amazing. The view, the relaxed and coo service, the buckets of coronas, the amazing food. It's all great!
But when something's this good, everyone wants a piece! Parking on a weekend is a nightmare. I actually had to park 5kms away and hitch-hike a ride back!! Not to mention the traffic on a sunday afternoon to get back to Sydney.
Hardly their fault though is it.
The line-up to order was somewhat frustrating as was the long wait for our food but being so popular does have those side-effects!

Not being able to book a table was slightly annoying and when one became free in the front garden area, it was right in the sun. Being a hot day this was inconvenient until the manager helped us move it into the shade!

A great place to head for a weekend lunch but the popularity of the place makes it it's own worst enemy!
Get there early to secure a table and park...or better yet, get some friends together and fly on a sea plane (It lands almost on the jetty out the front!) from Rose Bay.

However you get there, it will be worth the trip!

Fantastic restaurant right on the jetty of Palm Beach, Have been here for breakfast and lunch, both times being equally impressive. Food is fresh and on a nice day it is a great place to eat outside. Staff are friendly and everything is well prices (especially for the view and quality of food). The only issue i have is that It's not close enough to me but gives me an excuse to get out of the city on the weekends.
