    Went there today for the first time for lunch, and avoided the steak to try something new. The ribs were good, but the sauce was abit heavy and sweet and I found I couldnt eat all that much of it.
    My partner had the Linguine Marinara which was quite yummy. Big servings, and definately worth the cost. I think my opinion on the ribs was really just a personal preference as my partner LOVED them... I think he ate more of my meal than his own ;)

    Not one to usually go to pubs for the food the
    Caxton is the exception.
    THE STEAK OMG I love the lunch special !
    You think it would not be that difficult, place yummy meat onto grill, dip chips into deep fryer and serve with salad. Sadly many pubs just don't get it right. In fact I sub consciously compare each hotel to the Caxton when going somewhere else for steak. The Caxton's service is always profession and efficient and OMG have I mentioned the great steak. Well done Caxton

    I find this place a bit snooty at times but the food is really good and its a good place to have a few quick drinks before catching a game at Suncorp stadium as it's just down the road from there

    A great place for a group to catch up. Plenty of big screens for the sport if you are so inclined. Great atmosphere with the option of having a meal if you wish. You wont be disappointed.

    GreatThe steaks here are some of the best in Brisbane, head down there on Mondays and they have half price mates rates. Porterhouse with peppercorn sauce and baked potato cannot be beat.

    A multimillion dollar refurb has done away with the courtyard to make way for a huge indoor/outdoor dining area that includes the Terrace Bar, dining area, and three outdoor spaces with views to Suncorp Stadium. The new decor is sophisticated, in earthy tones. From the grill come steak and seafood, such as New York sirloin with bugs and prawns. Also popular is the 12-3pm special of 450g rump with potato and sauce, $13.90. Mains average: $25.
