    i am MORE than disappointed with the service of the codmother tonight!... i made an order and only got home to find out that it was not what i ordered. when i called to make a complaint the management told me they were to busy to listen as they were rushed off their feet with orders. if they had got my order right in the first place i would not have been calling and disturbing them whilst working. when i ask them well what about my dinner? they simply put the phone down and left me on the line with no one to listen to me. i do not believe that this business knows anything about good customer service nor do they know anything about what they are even selling. the issue has still not been resolved and i myself will never be going there again. i will also be telling every one i know this story to be sure my friends and family are not confronted with the same problems!

      Dear Customer, I was present at the phone when your "partner" (and not you) made the phone call to order the food, our staff member spent a lot of time taking the order and making sure it was correct and when he had finished I discussed it with him to ensure that the details were correct, I was satisfied so the order was prepared.
      When the Gentleman (not you) arrived to pick up the order we had a conversation to ensure that what he ordered was what he received, all was OK.
      Sometime later I was called to the phone to be confronted by an hysterical and abusive female swearing at myself.

      Sarah and I are pleased that this customer will not be ordering from our shop again as we do not need customers that swear and use abusive language.
      This problem could of easily been resolved with manners, patience and communication skills.

    They cook the best burgers you will ever come across. The food is just simply to die for if i will say so myself. The cook/s deliver the best looking food in the town and tastes even better when you eat it. They sell the yummiest pork riblets i have ever tasted and i believe everyone should come here to eat as it is simply the BEST!

    the staff who cooks the stake and burgers needs to learn how to cook if pushes any harder on the spatular might make a diamond all the meat has no liquid left very dry every time we try them same learn to cook i thought they knew how to cook fish and chips

    We have just had the BEST battered sausages that we have had in 4 years, the chips were lush, cooked to perfection, reasonable waiting time and best of all..... The Price!!
    Highly Recommended, we will definatley use it more regular.

    I agree with 'S Booker' the chips are really yummie and creamy in the middle.

    Morgans used to be the place to eat seafood on the Northside but im telling ya THE CODMOTHER @ Narangba is the NEW place to eat... this place is run by a lovely couple, the food is top quality, they do THE BEST gravy in the world & I dare ya to try & finish one of their works burgers cus my hubby is a big eater and he cannot.

    My first impression was what a poky little shop in the middle of nowhere!
    We went ahead and ordered cod & chips with some calamari & garlic prawns & then we sat outside & we were actually able to watch the staff cook our food!!
    When our meals came we could not believe how much we got, we couldn't finish the chips, the garlic prawns were amazing & I havent had such tasty fresh fish from a takeaway shop since... well, ever!!
    The only down side is this place is ridiculous busy, I will be back but I'll do a phone order next time

    Ive been here twice before seemed pretty good, but the most recent time i went i was waiting 15 minutes to be served when i got served the lady was very rude to me with no greeting and answerd me with "what do yu want". i overlooked this and ordered, i had a works burger two cod 5 whiting and $4 worth of chips. i beleive the only satisfactory part of my meal was the burger yet alone when i got home there was no whiting and barely enough chips for 2 people. I will NOT be returning.

    After reading the comments by BIG E, i decided to give this place a try. I was really looking forward to the HUGE burger. Well i was a little dissapointed that the burger was only slightly bigger than average, but it didnt really matter after i had my first bite which was absolutely delicious. The meat pattie ( with heaps of diced onion mixed in ) was the tastiest i have ever had and the egg was cooked just right, the burger was not overflowing with sauce either. While the burger was not the biggest i have had, the fish was right up there in size and very tasty, the serving size of chips are quite large and they were cooked to perfection (creamy in the middle ). The Irish couple that run this place are lovely people and they have quite an array of goodies you don't see in the everyday shop, such as, black pudding, irish ham and fried chocolate bars. Well done i'll be back again and again. :-)

    I live in nsw and recently visited my family who live in Narangba, we went to a local fish & chip shop and the food was 2 die for. I had a burger it was so delicious, these hamburgers were made with a freshly baked knot roll and it was so big I couldn't even finish it all and I'm a big bloke, that's not all I had to order some chips to go with my burger thinking that I could smash this food down easy but the serving was huge. This food was so good, the best chips I have ever eaten and you could taste the freshness. Thanks Sarah & Dave Please move to Sydney. (All hail the Cod Mother). Thankyou Ian Whiteside
