    I have nothing but bad experiences whenever I go to a Coffee Club and my latest experience has been the straw that broke the camels back!!!
    Last Saturday I went to this Coffee Club, my partner and I both ordered toasted ham and cheese croissants, easy enough, you wouldn't think it would take that long. After seeing several other tables arrive AFTER US, order AFTER US and receive their meals BEFORE US[may I add that the meals they were ordering were a bit more involved than the meal we ordered]. I enquired as to how much longer we would have to wait for our meal. After much scurrying around by the waitresses and a few apologies we eventually got our meal. However, there was NEVER any offer of compensation for the stuff up on their part. I would at least expect an offer for a round of drinks on the house as by the time we eventually got our meal we had finished our drinks and had been waiting for 20minutes.
    Not impressed. The food ended up being overcooked after all this [I thought you couldn't stuff up a toasted croissant, apparently I was wrong - they did!].
    MEGA FAIL - at the very least I would expect they have offered a free coffee voucher

    I have gone right off the coffee club. This particular one served me a warm milkshake in a glass that wasn't even cleaned properly.

    I'm not sure if it was the snappy way that the wait staff spoke, the lack of even a feigned smile, the soggy not really warm food or the bitter coffee but The Coffee Club Aspley, to me, on that occasion, was not a good experience. They appear to have a good reputation, so it may have been a one off - but I think they need to lift their game. There are a lot of other places to go in that area. They need to ensure that customers return. I won't be.

    Not bad, though the service could be improved (we found it hard to attact the waitress' attention at times). The serving sizes are generous, though our steak was completely underdone (asked for well-done & received med-rare!). Breakfasts are usually very good.
