It does not seem to matter which Coffee Club you go to for Coffee you seem to always be served Coffee that is made by a young person who does not personally drink coffee. The signage and even writing on the take away coffee cup containers promises this great tasting coffee arrogantly writing "THIS IS WHY YOUR COFFEE TASTES SO GOOD..." It doesn't taste good. The milk is always over heated and it is always difficult to detect the taste of coffee within the drink. In my experience I am always served a cup of hot sugary milk heated to around 80 degrees celsius. Don't bother.
Unfortunately not high on my list of local options. Was disappointed one long weekend when they charged the public holiday surcharge on the Saturday which wasn't a public holiday. The menu is safe but nothing exciting and a little expensive for what you get. Even the coffees are not great, at least not to my taste.
You know I'm not a big fan of the coffee club branches, they are way to expensive for the food that they do. However, in saying that I really like the service at the sherwood coffee club- they are really friendly and fast and efficient.
The BLT is to die for and the lime milkshakes go off. Not overly impressed but if your a local or have just gone for your driving test sucessfully (being that QLD transport is across the road) why not give it a go.
