    LOVE their coffee. Is great to go for a walk along the beach then finish up with a coffee and yummy cake. Menu prices are a bit on the expensive side but the view makes up for it. Downside is in summer it can get hard to get a park

    What a Gem. This restaurant / cafe is very good. With excellent views along the Great Ocean Road in one direction and in the other, back towards the heads of Port Phillip Bay.
    The food was a wonderful surprise, best discribed as modern Australian I guess, a small but excellent menu. The service was also excellent. Make sure you book and when doing so, ask for a window seat. I would have given The Dunes an extra half star, however the lack of toilet facilitis inside the restaurant was disapointing and my wife had to use the facilities out side the restaurant, in the beaches public change rooms. DO NOT let this put you off, as the rest of the dinning experience is well worth it.
