"WOULD NEVER CONTACT THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY REPAIR WORK FOR ANY OF MY APPLIANCES EVER AGAIN" Was charged $100 inspection fee and told what was wrong with the fridge, we then got them back out to fix the problems and the $100 was deducted of the repair cost. The fridge was still not working properly, luckily we could borrow a fridge from a friend as it took them a week to come back out to look at it. After replacing 2 parts that cost us $297 the first time, we were then told it was the motor which would cost us a further $500 to be fixed. He proceeded to try and sell us another fridge. "So we have a fridge that doesn't work" and they refuse to come and take their parts back they sold us and give us our money back for the parts. We didn't care about the $100 inspection fee. We were told the wrong thing in the first place, they should have told us it was the motor, so they were in the WRONG and should have done the right thing.

i am starting to wonder about these people as well.Emails keep coming back and i have been waiting for a part for an oven since May.They have the $100 i paid to come off my account.I paid $35 for two mesh filters for my washing machine and could have bought them locally for $9.

We used The Fridge and Washer place recently. They were late for a start. Then they charged me $200 to fix a $30 part. Was charged a $100 "inspection" fee and told that this charge would be deducted from the repair cost. Clearly it wasn't. They were not helpful nor sympathetic. I would not recommend them at all. Use them if you like to throw your money away as they will rip you off.

not familiar with european machines. very poor communication. left my machine without its protective base (and admitted they didn't know what it was for). a $70 part was quoted as $400 to fix, after they'd already made an easy $100.

Sorry to hear of your complaint. You may have us confused with another service as we do understand ALL brands - How else could we diagnosed the problem and formed a quote for you? You are most welcome to contact us directly and we will be happy to sort out any misunderstandings. You are also welcome to compare our prices. We find them more than competitive. We have no call out fee unlike some services. We have an inspeciton fee of $50.00 for most appliances except diswashers which have a $100 inspection fee. These fees are then deducted from the cost of the repair. We know of other brand sevice providers who's call out fee starts at $150! They have labour charges on top using 15 minute increments!

Most repairs costs are not factored upon parts costs and labour to fit. The total costs include the cost of licences, advertising, staff administation, freight and warranty on new parts that may fail.

Appliance repair may hurt like a dentist but in the end it can save you big $$$

Hi, Keith has fixed my washing machine. I've got 4 kiddies and rely heavily on my washer. I was happy - even relieved- with the bill and would recommend his service any day.

i eventually got my oven fixed in september after waiting from may for the part, they almost electrocuted themselves firstbecause they forgot to turn the power off then after they took the part out and eventually got it back together it didn't work even though they said it did. They pulled it apart again rang their boss and said it was the wrong part which it wasn't so they got it back together again and it worked. Then a week later i tried to use the grill for the first time since the oven was repaired and now that doesn't work. When i rang i was told if it was the element it wasn't their fault. The element worked before they got to it.I will ring again monday and get them back i am just so sick of them.I won't let up even if i have to go further.
