Each flavour we produce is made from the finest Italian and Australian ingredients, to ensure our gelato is nothing short of incredible!

At the GELATO shop we offer an extensive range of Gelato flavours from the creamy dairy based gelatos, to the intense water based sorbets. Whilst we primarily cater to the general public, we also cater for restaurants and special events.

Our award winning gelato is made fresh daily on the premises and we currently have over 100 flavours! We also have yummy treats such as sundaes, frappes, Italian hot chocolates, fruit smoothies and Churros (which are spanish donuts).... yummy! 

Previously known as il GELATO veneziano we are now offically called the GELATO shop! Same great product and same great owners, just decided to change our name!

Very disappointing visit! Asked the staff serving if a flavour had nuts as I have an allergy. Was told no to later find out yes it does have nuts. After rushing home, I called the store and explained they gave the wrong information. With absolutely no empathy in their voice they kept saying "ok". Brought up the fact that my allergy is mild compared to others - again didnt care and claimed they don't remember me asking.

  hi, my name is stefanie, i am the owner of the gelato shop, i was hoping you would contact me cause the girls rang me in a panic last night so i am aware of the situation. i am so very sorry! tracy served you & was not aware that we have changed suppliers for the coffee crunch mix & now it does contain nuts. all the other girls knew just not tracey, again i am so sorry! i cant have gluten so i completly understand! i normally make it a priority to inform all the girls of any menu changes, this is just a one off mistake & it wont happen again. when u called tracy was on her break & u spoke to nanna,she is new and from denmark & she was confused, nanna said she had just served another lady coffee crunch&she thought thats who she was speaking to!the shop was also very busy when you called so she couldnt hear you. all these things shouldnt have happend though and i am so very sorry. please give me your details & i will be happy to refund you or give you a free takehome pack for the trouble

Had the passionfruit ice-cream from here and it was amazing! You can also taste as many different flavours that you want with an actually silver spoon (sometimes places just give you a cardboard stick), and I wasn't dissapointed by the proportion of ice-cream they gave me or the taste. Great service here and wonderful location, particularly because you are surrounded by so many restaurants, so a great dessert for afterwards.

The Gelato shop is awesome!! I am a true blue gelato fan and i swear this is the best gelato i have ever tasted!! It is even better than the gelato in Italy!! Tell all your friends about it! I love u Gelato shop!! xx
