Recently had problem with this store and there 30 day price match guarantee, ensure prior to purchasing to check the fine print, better still shop elsewhere. The Good Guys seem to have lost the plot over the past few years or maybe the competition have just overtaken them.
Anyway I will never purchase there again. -

I took my parents to shop here on a Saturday about 3 weeks ago and we had the WORST experience! My parents wanted to buy a 50" plasma tv from JB Hi-Fi which was advertised in the Friday newspaper for $1941. This was a really good price because everyone else sold the same TV for around $2500. I took my parents to The Good Guys Auburn instead since they were closer to home and I was sure that they would match JB Hi-Fi's price. The sales guy at the store was happy to match the price for us but he had to get it approved first. This is when the trouble started. They wanted us to prove that JB Hi-Fi was really selling the TV at that price. Since we didnt have the newspaper with us they would not match the price. The salesman that was serving us told us that he would call JB Hi-Fi to confirm their price and then he would match it. In the meantime another staff member disappeared and came back about 5 minutes later with Friday's newspaper in their hand and very rudely handed it to me and told me that there was nothing in the newspaper with JB' Hi-Fi's price. Their rude tone and attitude was saying that we were lying and trying to con them into giving us the TV for really cheap. I took the newspaper and had a look and lo and behold spotted the full page ad!! I told them that we weren't lying about the price and they were very rude and needed to get some customer service training. They did not like that at all and told us that if werent happy with the service we should leave and they would show us the door!!! I couldnt believe they would say that! Especially when they were wrong in the first place! I have nothing against the store or the all other staff but I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop at this store on weekends. -

Their prices are regularly the lowest. Not so sure about the 'pay less pay cash' or 'make an offer' idea, though it does save some $ it's mostly a ploy. But they have the stock, have good prices, and it's all in one place which is handy. Good parking so no need to carry your brand new item too far, certainly overall worth a visit. -

Great store, and a good location, always plenty of parking! The store stocks everything I need, the guys there are knowledgeable about the products, they have a good variety and I like the fact that I can get a small discount if I pay by cash -
