Really tasty, not a whole lot of options but every dish I tried was good. Excellent combination platters for $8 which was perfect in quantity and price. I second an earlier recommendation for the mango chicken!

This is not gourmet dining, nor does it claim to be. This is for the night you need a quick, cheap Indian food fix, and on that front it delivers marvellously. The mango chicken has been a household favourite for several years now. Well worth a try!

Wasn't going to go here but once again thanks to True Locals reviews, I decided to give it ago. Glad I didn't listen to 'Big' Daz because the food was great, no problems whatsoever. 'Big' Daz probably works for the shop next door, everybody is 'Big' when they are faceless nobodies. Great service, only thing better was the food. RK

Tried this place for lunch. Both the menu board and the flyer said "all curries served with rice" but the staff point blank refused to provide rice.
Food was nothing to write home about, bland to mildly spicy at best.

Often drop in after work to oickup a takeaway meal instead of cooking. The food is yummy. I normally do no go for Indian, but this has changed my mind. There is always a line of people waiting to be served. I like that the offer to let you inspect the cleanliness of the kitchen. They have confidence in what and how they cook. The ladies behind the counter are always good for a joke.

I have been dining here whenever in Central Brisbane for years. Without a doubt the best value curry in Brisbane and tastes divine. I highly recommend this restaurant, however be warned the servings are huge!!

Lovely staff and yummy food. The food is closest to the best indian you'll get in Brisbane, and definately at the best price. You can get 3 vegetarian curries on rice for $5.50 or 2 vegetarian and one meat curry for $7. There is no other indian restaurant in Brisbane that even comes close to that kind of value.
Don't be put off by the baymarie, whilst the curries are precooked they don't get a chance to stay stagnant because the place is so popular there is a huge turnover every 10 minutes or so.
There is always a long line going out to the footpath, but it moves pretty quickly. Tip: Order your naan bread first because this is made to order so it takes a little longer than the rest.

This place is fantastic. instant takeaways or you can choose to eat in! Authentic curries. Prices are a steal for the food you get and the people who run this place could not be nicer.
