Reviews of The Ming

  • UP FRONT PLUMBING. Area Expert 68 reviews
We have been to The Ming a couple of times, and never had a problem, fantastic food and service
  • Very disappointed ing The Ming, premium prices for food court quality food. Made a reservation which resulted in being squashed onto a small table right at the door, while walk ins were given better tables. Special fried rice was barely a standard fried rice very bland . Two courses were like warm and the dish on a sizzle plate had no sizzle, then a waiter dropped a drink in my lap. Just a bad experience all around considered holding my sons 18th there but will now look elsewhere . Do yourself a favour and go to Harry's and get a pie
  • Pleasant in a suburban kind of way. The food was in good sized portions, hot and reasonably tasty although Szechuan prawns were a mild imitation Asking for green tea, we were told it was Jasmine but it was smoky and appeared to be Oolong - certainly not Jasmine. They did get chopsticks when I asked for them. The fried ice cream wasn't exciting and came with lashings of what seemed like bad sweet commercial milkshake flavourings for "sauce". Seating initially a bit squeezy for the party but they were very happy to move us to a better location. Good decor with some interesting items displayed on the walls.
  • We held my daughter Casey's 21st at the Ming last night! Couldn't have picked a better place to hold it.The function room was set up so nice, The food was unbelievable and so much of it, we chose the $33 banquet..And the staff they couldn't have been more helpful to me in arranging it. They are so friendly and bent over backwards to make the night so special. A great big thank you to all of you. One happy mum :)
  • I have been to Ming a few times now at different times, on different days and for different celebrations and have nothing but high praise for the fast and excellent service and the YUMMY food! Will be back for sure!
  • Been here many times staff great, food fantastic quite authentic chinese food. Have given many referrals and all have had a positive experience.
  • Do not go to this restaurant. Especially if have children. Charged $15.80 for a child who brought a drink with her. She isn't two. Service poor food as bad. Could not wait for us to leave helping the young one out of the high chair
  • I went to The Ming last night for the first time with a few friends and we all had a marvelous time. The food was fantastic, the satff freindly. We only paid $125 for Shared Entrees, 4 Main course, rice and even desserts and drinks! Great food, great services, beuatiful decore. Deiffinatly a must and we all will be returning.
  • A beautiful Chinese Restaurant located inside Panthers Club. Gormet food, great service, very friendly staff, quick service without jeopardising the quality of the food, plenty of room, and large groups don't seem to be an issue - banquets are great and loads of variety
  • I found the food to be very overpriced, especially in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Half of our table enjoyed the food whilst the other half didn't, so it's mixed reviews. It took almost an hour for our food to come, which was frustrating hoever the staff were very pleasant which was a bonus.
