Special private room, which can seat around 45 peoples, is an ideal place for function of various occasions. Welcome to "The Ming" at the wonderful world of the Panthers where you can dine in and experience a variety of gourmet delicacies served by the friendly staffs.
Pleasant in a suburban kind of way. The food was in good sized portions, hot and reasonably tasty although Szechuan prawns were a mild imitation Asking for green tea, we were told it was Jasmine but it was smoky and appeared to be Oolong - certainly not Jasmine. They did get chopsticks when I asked for them. The fried ice cream wasn't exciting and came with lashings of what seemed like bad sweet commercial milkshake flavourings for "sauce". Seating initially a bit squeezy for the party but they were very happy to move us to a better location. Good decor with some interesting items displayed on the walls.
We held my daughter Casey's 21st at the Ming last night! Couldn't have picked a better place to hold it.The function room was set up so nice, The food was unbelievable and so much of it, we chose the $33 banquet..And the staff they couldn't have been more helpful to me in arranging it. They are so friendly and bent over backwards to make the night so special. A great big thank you to all of you. One happy mum :)
I have been to Ming a few times now at different times, on different days and for different celebrations and have nothing but high praise for the fast and excellent service and the YUMMY food! Will be back for sure!
DO NOT GO HERE! I had the worst experience I have ever had in my life. We came to The Ming to celebrate our engagement party and my birthday on the same night. We booked for 65 people at $33 each. There were not enough seats for everyone so people did not eat and left half way through but they counted them as a head so they charged us even though they didn't eat and our guests told them that when they were doing the head count. We were overcharged for 10 people, when we got there the food had already been cooked so when it came out it was stone cold and only half of our desserts came out when it was included in the $33 banquet price. They were also so slow in taking drinks orders throughout the night and they added on the same drink to their lists when we asked where our previous order was. When we went to fix the overcharging issue they made up excuses and also said they were keeping my bond which I was told would be refunded on the night NOT a booking fee. As anyone would after something like this, I got very upset as they had ruined our night which was supposed to be a nice celebration of our engagment. The manager just stood there and did not stop laughing at us the whole time. They still made us pay the extra $330. Please do not make the same mistake as I did by choosing this place for a nice celebration, I don't wish for anyone to go through what we had to go through.
Do not go to this restaurant. Especially if have children. Charged $15.80 for a child who brought a drink with her. She isn't two. Service poor food as bad. Could not wait for us to leave helping the young one out of the high chair
I went to The Ming last night for the first time with a few friends and we all had a marvelous time. The food was fantastic, the satff freindly. We only paid $125 for Shared Entrees, 4 Main course, rice and even desserts and drinks! Great food, great services, beuatiful decore. Deiffinatly a must and we all will be returning.
A beautiful Chinese Restaurant located inside Panthers Club. Gormet food, great service, very friendly staff, quick service without jeopardising the quality of the food, plenty of room, and large groups don't seem to be an issue - banquets are great and loads of variety
I found the food to be very overpriced, especially in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Half of our table enjoyed the food whilst the other half didn't, so it's mixed reviews. It took almost an hour for our food to come, which was frustrating hoever the staff were very pleasant which was a bonus.
