Be charmed. Be cultivated. Be captured by Sydney's newest cutting-edge restaurant, bar and oyster room; an authentic New York style brasserie, charismatic yet cheeky - The Morrison
A beautifully styled space reminiscent of the Oyster Rooms of old New York and London. We cook quality produce simply- always allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves.
Fraser Short and Sean Connolly invite you on a culinary and cocktail journey through heritage Sydney. What was the old Brooklyn Hotel is now the beautifully refurbished Morrison Bar and Oyster Room
The majority of our food is cooked over an open fire, and we choose to cook on the bone wherever possible to give you the true flavour of the ingredients.
Our oysters are sourced from all over Australia and are guaranteed to be the best our nation has to offer. We offer all day dining and pride ourselves on a service that is stylish and efficient while remaining distinctly unique.
Dine with friends at communal tables in The Oyster Room, an informal affair where you can watch centre stage as Australia's finest oysters are shucked-to-order. The Conservatory is The Morrison's open air terrace which offers a private but stylish setting under the stars, cocktail in hand and a la carte menu to feast on. The bustling Parlour is the destination that allows you to unwind the working week surrounded by friends for a long and late as you like.
The restaurant menu is grown up. Executive Chef Sean Connolly's international experience shines, reflecting his signature style of seasonal produce, cooked on the bone and in the shell wherever possible.
Feel at home among friends as we invite you to be captured in the unique experience of charm and style that is The Morrison.

Had dinner here last week. we had to to wait a little bit which is fair enough as we hadn't booked and even though it was a Wednesday night. The tables are quite close together. I have the Lamb and Beef Ragu.I have to say I really enjoyed it however I had to eat it on my own as the person who I was with ordered the GRAVLAX OF OCEAN TROUT for $22 which was literally a few piece of fish and leaves couldn't even find the Avo so we sent it back. They were very good in taking it back and replacing it for something else. I would go back but stay clear of any of the salad dishes and go for something a little bit more substantial.
