if you like your coffee as strong as rocket fuel, you can't go past the old fish shop coffee shop. unappetising as the name may be (given the incompatability between fish and coffee) the unpretentious, casual space is just the place to while away some spare time and perhaps grab a snack. authentic newtown - a rare breed these days. -

One of the landmark cafes in the Inner West. This place is definetly for just hanging out with a few mates on a Sunday Morning. Small and cozy with a very relaxed atmosphere right on the Newtown footpath.
The coffee is pretty good and the light refreshments work well with your hot drink. Check it out
