The Outback Lodge is a family owned and managed group of properties covering Manly on the Northern Beaches, Ashfield west of the city, Cronulla Beach on the Southern side and Potts Point in the Eastern Suburbs. 

These properties provide modern, clean, comfortable and affordable fully furnished standard, deluxe or executive studios, 1 or 2 bedroom apartments, bedsits with own kitchenettes, a beach side cottage, a two storey terrace house and rooms in a share house. 

All properties are tastefully decorated and located in close proximity to beaches, transport, shops, restaurants and night life.  Accommodation provided is suitable for singles, couples, twin share, family or groups.   No lease is required. 

We provide short and long stay accommodation for travelers, interstate transfers, locals, professional executives, students etc wanting a safe, clean and quite environment to live in without being tied down to a lease.  We also offer permanent accommodation for those seeking a sea change.

    I recently stayed at The Outback Lodge during its recent renovations and found nothing to complain about - I suppose you cant please everyone. Loved staying here, its peaceful in a nice tree lined street, native birds and plants, owner really takes care of property and other people lovely. If you really want to enjoy your stay at Manly/Sydney stay here, we did, we loved it and we will be back. Thanks for providing a clean, tidy and great facilitites for us. Gwen

    The smell, noise and clutter, together with the rude and abusive management made my wife's parents holiday at this hole a misery.

    The web site and material that was sent to us is false and misleading. Despite the documentation that we received stating that we were renting a Fully Furnished 1 bedroom flat, after arriving the management stated :

    a) " It a boarding house."
    b) " Because it is a boarding house we can do anything we want.
    c) The management threatened to evict my wifes parents with 24 hours notice if my wife made any trouble.

    The managment proceeded to paint the apartments, while my wife's parents were staying there. The management refused to discuss the matter and was most insulting to my wife. The smell of the paint, noise and clutter made the apartment unliveable.

    Do not waste your money on this place.

      Amazing how even a doctor can get it so wrong just because we refuse to stop painting inside flats that are currently VACANT - we were told we were breaking the law by painting the common areas and must wait until his inlaws leave. We tried to explain there would be no disruption to our guests as we were only painting out flats that are vacant - there has been no clutter, definitely NO NOISE as there are only 2 guys working in 2 seperate flats, no sanding, no power tools, using paint rollers/brush on the walls. There is little or no smell as the paint is a Taudmans special low odur water based paint approved by the Australian standards. Anyone who would like to come and inspect any of our flats are more than welcome, we have a high reputation, however, we will not be told we have to stop maintenance work an threatened with legal action if we dont.

      Our guests are occupying a 1 br furnished flat with new bathroom, some new furniture/furnishing most comfortable, cant be too bad.

    WOW!!!!! What a place, this place is just amazing, modern, clean and so beautful with the windmill in the garden area and the lovely native birds that come, if you are looking for somewhere quite, nice and friendly then check out this place.
