We went to Gordonis tonight. I ordered the Beef Tagine off the Specials blackboard. The staff told me it was like a curry. When it arrived, it looked like something that had been dragged out of the freezer and microwaved for too long. It tasted like that as well - certainly not like a curry. When the staff came and asked us if our meals were ok, I told them this tasted like a poor casserole and nothing like a curry. They offered me some chilli which I accepted but it was a poor substitute. They then offered me free sweets which I declined as I don't eat them. The meal was expensive and close to the worst meal I have ever had the misfortune to order. I would not go back to this restaurant. And it's way too expensive! Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else...

We went to Gordonis as they seemed to have a great special on, a 2 course meal for $20 dollars. How dissapointed we were when the Garlic bread arrived, two measly little slices of buttered bread and not much garlic. The drinks arrived long after the first course and the meal much later after that. Our Chicken and Avocado sandwhich had no avacado, a pretty essential ingredient considering the name of the dish. Our other main of homemade beef burger was sufficient, but was very dry and did not have any mayo or bbq sauce, which is sacreligeous to a burger. The mayo on the other meal was watered down and disgusting anyway. No sauces were offered to us even though the burger came with chunky chips. The toilets were not good, they obviously hadnt been cleaned for a while. Although the staff were friendly enough, they really seemed to hate their jobs and who can blame them, if they are forced to dish up that? .

I chose the healthy meal - Poached eggs, spinach, roast tomato, mushrooms + avocado topped with pesto sour cream and served on Turkish toast, and as a treat for my birthday I had a portions of bacon. When my arrived I noticed the mushrooms were missing, we called the waitress over who come back with of dish of mushrooms, and apologised. It wasn't until we got home I realised the pesto sour cream was missing as well. I sent them an e-mail but they didn't bother to reply. MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU ORDER AND PAID FOR AT THIS RESTAURANT!!

Great cafe for a good and reliable breakfast. The prices are really good and they tend to have some great specials.

A great restaurant on the Paradise Point strip.
Staff are great and the atmosphere and surroundings are conducive to a very relaxing meal. The menu has a lot of variety and caters for pretty much everyone including kids. Food quality is consistently good and the prices, while not cheap, are not outlandish either. Well worth a visit.

My very favourite breakfast spot. Located on the esplanade it has gorgeous broadwater views and a constant mild seabreeze. A fabulous selection on the breakfast menu including my favourite and totally delicious salmon and spinach Eggs Benedict(always prepared to perfection). If you have a special request it's never an effort and the children are always welcome.Staff are friendly and helpful and food is quickly on the table.Prices are fair and most importantly the coffee is divine!
