Id say the recent renovations in the eating area look great, but unfortunatly the food hasnt improved as much as the looks. still ok to have a few drinks with friends and they have pool tables too!

I've been to The Ranch Hotel several times over the years and each time I was disappointed. The food is like canteen food at restaurant prices. Prices seem to go up every year too.

Head across Epping Road and have a meal at the Stamford Hotel instead.

Pretty tacky place, the food in the bistro is expensive and not very exciting.

The bar is generally empty, except on Wednesday night (uni night) when it becomes party central. Otherwise I would avoid it.

It's a pity that there is not much else in North Ryde

Oh the Ranchy Ranch... the uni student hang out with cheap drinks, a carpeted dancefloor and sticky walls. Still a lot of fun - they also have a great bistro with fantastic food.
