More a case of misplaced identity than anything particularly wrong!
The good:
- good coffee
- decent food (the chicken wings are reasonable... very small but plentiful and tasty... only order the Hot wings if you like them HOT).
- good location on Pittwater Rd with an open frontage making it nice and breezy
- casual decor.
Now the not so good....
It depends what you want and expect when you go to a "Sports Bar". Given the American theme, I was particularly disappointed that:
a) there is only 3 TVs showing the same thing (as opposed to 3 different sports)
b) they're not open when sport is actually on... ie A-League final on sunday afternoon, monday night football, late evening games, F1, etc. (isn't that the point of a sports bar???)
c) there is no bar per se... just liquor behind a counter.
d) a bucket of beers doesn't actually come in a bucket.
e) three separate times now I have called and they can not answer if they'll be showing a particular sport.
f) Blue Cheese sauce... the great American staple... is like a blended whip.
Its a shame... as a good sports bar would kill it in Sydney!!
