    LOVE, LOVE LOVE this salon!
    Everything about it is AMAZING!
    Atmosphere, friendly, happy and competent staff.
    Value for money - you get what you pay for - really that sums it up for me!

    If you are looking for a change give The Salon for Hair a go, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they all appear to have a good grip on the latest trends for hair.

    My stylist Andy has now been doing my hair for 7 years and I followed him here from his last Salon.

    It has been a very rewarding change for me, my hair always looked good after a visit to Andy but it now looks amazing!

    I have been a client for about 5 years now and each and every time I visit I leave very happy. They are extremely creative with colour and are always suggesting something really nice each time. The atmosphere is very soothing and you often get a most relaxing head and scalp massage! I would, (and have) thoroughly recommended it - the best salon in Turramurra - bar none!!!!!

    I have been going to The Salon for Hair for years and always love what they do with my hair! People are always asking me where I get my hair done and I'm always happy to pass on The Salon's details. The stylists are always up with the latest trends and their head massages are amazing!! The salon has a great feel to it and all the staff are friendly and take pride in their work. I can highly recommend them after years of fantastic haircuts.

    I first became aware of The Salon for Hair through a living social promotion over 12 months ago. I found the experience to be very relaxing and I look forward to returning every 6 weeks to have my hair done. I have tried a few of the girls and my children have also had their haircut at the salon. We are all happy with the service and experience of the staff and can highly recommend them.

    When I first moved to the upper north shore I spent so much time searching for a salon I was comfortable with. Finally I found the Salon for Hair. Di and her team are just so lovely and always make me & my family feel so welcome. I always come out with a good cut and great colour. And the home-made almond biscuits with coffee are delicious!!

    I have been to this salon a few times and especially after my last haircut I won't be returning again. My hair type is not at all difficult to cut, however a simple cut style with some layers resulted in my hair looking 10 times worse than when I walked in. The layers looked like they had just been hacked at with random short bits here and there. I had to get it fixed by another hairdresser. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    I have been to this salon 3 times now and every time I have left disappointed. It seems I am endlessly searching for a hairdresser that actually listens and does a good job! I certainly did not find that at The Salon. After my last appointment, I left with stripy orange hair and roots that were lighter than the rest of my hair. It looked like I had bought an $8 bottle of hair dye and done it myself, but no - it cost me $270 thank you very much.mmy hair looks so awful people have actually commented on it. I will never be going back and will never recommend them either. The girl that cut and coloured my hair is certainly not competent at colour correcting, or at cutting. My search for a good hairdresser on the upper north shore continues.

    I was very happy with my colour & cut at this salon . The stylist Tony was one of the most gorgeous stylists I have had the pleasure of meeting, was knowledgeable on all the latest style trends & made me look & feel beautiful , even my husband noticed & loved my new "do"

    Very disappointed with this place. Firstly I had been going there for about 6 months, never 100% happy with my hair but prepared to try out all the staff who work there. Found the staff very weird, who like to put down the management when their on holidays. They like to do what they want, not what you ask them to do. Another staff, they are completely off the planet in terms of conversation and ability. Worst of all, I never once got a decent scalp massage there, at other salons this can go on for at least 10 minutes.

    What annoyed me most about this place is they charge a lot for what they do (more so than other hairdressers in the area). One day I sat next to a "new" customer who was receiving free colour. I couldn't believe it, I'd only been going for 6 months and I wasn't getting anything for free!! I think the management need to put more effort into keeping the customers they already have, rather than trying to bribe new ones through the door. I have since gone elsewhere and am much happier.

    I am DISGUSTED with the customer service after calling up to make an appointment, then being 'put on hold' for 10 minutes. Only I could hear their conversations, none of which were to assist in my booking, then being hung up on, without having ANY service at all!!!
