Had an amazing experience staying here. The accommodation was modern, stylish and roomy and very well presented. We got the package including the buffet breakfast each morning, WOWZERS, a super way to start the day, anything you can think of that could be labeled as a breakfast food - they have it on offer. Fresh juices, coffee, muesli, bacon, eggs, croissants... the list goes on and on and it was to die for. The casino has recently undergone renovations and it was great. The atmosphere was very inviting, and even though I'm not a gambler, there were plenty of other things to keep me occupied.

Nice casino, and staff at the tables are always helpful. Only complaint is they took away the $5 roulette tables (not a fan of the electronic versions)

The service at Star City was fantastic, the lady at reception was very friendly, efficient and informative. Although not always in my budget I'd stay there again.

I could not rate the hotel highly enough. I had a short stay, and it made a huge impression. ALL staff were helpful in any way, from opening doors to fixing our door card, and getting postcards after our check-out (I'd forgotten earlier). Our room was lovely, and the complex in a great, central area. We had a small go at the casino and I even came up a winner. We were late for breakfast, but were never rushed out, and were still made to feel welcome. Worthy of my five star rating, and recommended to many.

As unusual as it sounds, Star Citys breakfast buffet is amazingly good. They have a selection of hot foods, as well as fresh berries and Bircher Muesli so it caters for everyone ' s taste. Because its a buffet its all you can eat so its great value for money.

I've only seen one smiling dealer in there. All the rest appears to be depressed and over worked. Help desk are helpless. The only good thing was....hmm....... nothing really.

Feel like a view of the Harbour Bridge as you enjoy the gentle force of a therapeutic massage spa jet on your lower back and sip on champagne? Try it at Star City in Darling Harbour: casino, hotel and restaurant complex. And if selecting from the pillow menu (wool, latex, cotton, or down) in your luxury Star Suite leaves you spoilt for choice or if a flutter on the floor doesn’t tempt you into even more chips, shuffle on down to the theatre and catch a show. A cracking production which will get you in the mood for some city adventuring.
