    We went to The Villager Hotel with a group of ten people. We had pre-booked a table, which they had ready for us. All staff were very attentive to our needs, they frequently came over to take additional orders. We even checked in on FourSquare and got our free beers. We started with bruscetta and everyone then had a main meal, either from the menu or the board. I had lamb shanks, which melted in your mouth. I would have liked mash potatoes or some green vegetables with it, but it came as described. Maybe additional vegetables were offered on the menu? The Villager Hotel had a great atmosphere and allowed us to chat and catch up with friends, rather then pump overwhelming loud music into the room like some venues like to do. They were also very accommodating when additional people joined our table. Highly recommend The Villager as an alternative venue to catch up with friends.
