    What can I say about Dr Harry and the staff at Thrifty? Friendly, fantastic, caring, kind, welcoming....so many nice things. My dog was hit by a car and we had to take her to emergency vet who told me that it was going to cost $2000 plus to skin graph my dogs foot and leg back together. After crying, then reading the reviews on here I decided to drive from Selby to here and haven't ever regretted it. Instead of lengthy costly unnecessary operations, my dog has been given bandages packed with anti biotics and time...5 weeks later she is well and truly on the mend and the total cost isn't even a 1/4 of what was first quoted. I really think some vets know that our pets are our family and will do anything to save them, but to them they see $$$ and cents. When you take your pet to Thrifty its like turning up to your Pops house, warm, welcoming and safe and i just felt so relieved that my dog was being cared for in such a way. We will now be regulars and wouldn't go anywhere else!

    I went to Thriftyvet to see if I could get a decent level of animal care for a better price than my current vet, also in the local area. The level of care my animals received was second to none. The vet actually examined my dog and cat instead of just looking at them from around the otherside of the table. He drew on the whiteboard so I understood what was wrong and how he had fixed it. He showed a practiced hand dealing with a very upset cat and handled him in a way that wasn't inflicting pain, but meant he could treat the problem there and then. The price was exponentially cheaper than our other vet and for the amount of examination time, friendly atmosphere and care shown to both myself and my pets was more than I could have asked for. I will not be returning to my other vet, they have lost a customer of over 11 years. Thriftyvet is sensational and I would be shocked to find a better vet in the area. You can tell they know what they're doing there. Instead of being pristine and clean and unruffled, the vet had a chewed name badge on the corner and was happy to have dog fur all over him. I am one very happy customer, I wish I had switched earlier!!!

    This must be the best value Vet in Melbourne. They are so much cheaaper than any other Vet we have used yet the are just lovely to deal with especially if you have a seriously ill pet. Their care and thoughtfulness over the years when we have to put down two of our dogs was wonderful and it made what was an awful situation bearable.
