I used to love coming to Tony Roma's in Sydney or Perth, I have even been to the one in Singapore. However the Sydney restaurant is increasingly becoming more and more unwelcoming, don't get me wrong the staff are all very nice but unhelpful. The simplest of things eg. asking for a fork, which you receive a good 10 mins later after asking 2-3 more times. Also the quality of the food has gone downhill and the portions are nowhere near as large as they used to be however the other Tony Roma's I have been to all have very similar sized servings. -

My friends and I had been looking forward to eating at Tony Roma's for some time and unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the Ribs on our occasion. Considering it is what they are famous for I expected more flavour and they were a little on the dry side. It is quite pricey so it is definitely not the place for the budget conscious. The service was good and definitely recommended booking ahead as they fill up fast on Friday/Saturday nights. Take note that the toilets are up the steep flight of stairs in the middle of the restaurant and it is a bit of walk around to get to them so be mindful of this when you are seated. The ambiance is warm and inviting but I will consider another main meal apart form the ribs next time I go. -

Yes, the onion loaf is great and so are the ribs. These are our standard order at Tony Roma's. And their buffalo wings too are great.
The prices are indeed on the high side but the food is great. Service is good too. This place fills up quickly and gets really busy so get there early.3 months ago - 28/01/2013 via TrueLocal for iPhone

Had a good experience here last night, a few other times havent been that great but honestly the earlier you get there the better the service you recieve. Sunday and public holiday prices are a bit steep but if you recieve the service I did last night you dont really mind -

I am absolutely obsessed with this restaurant!
There are so many options for rib meats and sauces.
Slight downfall would be parking on a weekend, a little pricey (although the food is great), and not a large range of sides (despite being pictured in the menu).

the last time I came here was years ago and we were a bit disappointed when we went here recently.
However, we still love the onion loaf that you get at this place. If you haven't tried it, it is very addictive and tasty.
The ribs are good but the serving sizes are a lot smaller than other establishments. You do get a decent size side dishes though.
You can't complain about the service as they are pretty good.-

They serve my favourite Baby Back Ribs in Australia and with decent atmosphere, a convenient location, Tony Roma's is one of my favourite places for those special nights out with family and friends. If it's your first time make sure you try the 'Star-Studded Sampler'! -

Good Food Bad service i asked for a plate i got a bowl asked for a fork got a spoon asked for nupkens didnt even get them.
If you want a restrant with good food put staff that dont speak english go there good for the chinise because thats all they speak

Kinda tacky, but really great ribs and onion loaf (don't be tempted by the large size unless you want a coronary). Don't order the sirloin cheddar grille sandwich though, the actual dish looks nothing like the picture in the menu and was a sore disappointment. An overcooked thin slice of steak sandwiched between two pieces of white bread - not the multiple layers of rare roast beef we were expecting.
