Very disappointing. We found the service very unfriendly and were made to feel like they were doing us a favour by having us in their restaurant. The food took an extremely long time to arrive and was very disappointing. The lamb was dry and the paella was really dry. WORST food experience. Save your money.

Terrible service and the food was very average. Disappointing as the venue is lovely.

Not a good night, a group of 10 went here to farewell my partner. A few of the guys had bourbon and coke and the coke was flat. My partner ordered meat paella, confirmed it twice with the staff and got seafood paella. 2 of the other guests ordered lamb fillet on potatoe rosti and got lamb backstrap and something that looked like a burnt quiche. They did take one of the lambs of the bill and my partners paella was reduced in price. They did try to tell us that backstrap was fillet but it's not. There is about $20 a kilo difference in price. I also had fish & chips, the fish was dry and small and there were only about a dozen chips, for $32 I didn't think it was good value for money.

I've been dining at Toro's for years and the lamb has always been one of my favourites.

It comes with spanish tortilla not rosti.

Fillet Definition: a boneless cut or slice of meat or fish.
Spanish Tortilla Definition: Omelet. In Spain, one of the most common dishes served daily is the tortilla espanola or tortilla de patata, made with fried potatoes, onions and eggs.

I think these describe this dish well.
Some people just like to complain... others enjoy themselves...
