I bought a used Mitsubishi Triton from these guys. The service was very good and I was happy with my $25 000 purchase. A few weeks later however, I started having power issues with the car, when I checked out the battery I found that Torque Ford (62 Strathpine Road) had installed (or failed to notice or care at the pre-sale service) a cheap $60 battery used in small cars rather than the $200 4WD drive battery the Triton should have been running on. When I phoned Torque about this they shrugged-off all responsibility and said batteries were not covered in the warranty. Although this was true the issue was caused by an incorrect installed component and I thought that common decency would prevail. make up your own mind if you want to purchase a second hand car from such a dealer.
We've had our vehicle serviced by these guys since we purchased it three years ago. They are one of the few businesses that follow up with their clients and ask for feedback. Always willing to help, we value the level of safety that repairs and services from Torque Ford and happily recommend them.
