    Okay, I am going to try and be positive about this accommodation and to give suggestions to the people running Town and Country South Strathfield.
    1. Fire your cleaners they are certainly NOT doing their job.
    2. Replace the washer on your shower it leaks BADLY.
    3. Replace the cold/cold water indicators on shower this could cause burns to the unsuspecting.
    4. Replace batteries in T.V. control I am tall so found standing on a chair to change channels the best way . T.V was fastened to wall approx. 7 feet up. Stiff neck .
    5. Please put fly wire on windows again standing on chair outside room to shut windows was the only way to ward off the mozzies.
    6. Shampoo your carpet or replace it disgusting.
    7. Replace your pillows they are also disgusting.
    8. Replace your single beds disgusting.
    9. Teach your staff to make beds, vacuum floors . We made our own beds and had to grab linen after staff didnt turn up management advised the cleaner was ill.
    10. NO SMOKE DETECTORS THIS IS ILLEGAL .
    11. Fumigate your rooms COCKROACHES.
    12. Unfortunately we couldnt find accommodation elsewhere (we tried VERY hard) and we had given our credit card details before viewing room a mistake we will not make again.
    13. Your room stank we bought air freshener and left air conditioner on so that we could breath. That is after we re-set the air conditioner it had been shut down.
    14. Supplied our own toilet paper yours is for public toilets only.
    15. Your linen needs replacing
    16. Rusty shower chair needs to be replaced dangerous.
    Yes, this will cost you money , but in the long run your guests will be much happier.

    Our supposed 'deluxe' room had not been 'cleaned', just tidied up. We were offered another room which had definitely been cleaned (huh?, aren't ALL rooms meant to be cleaned?) After inspecting it, we declined, as it was of the same standard...a botch job. Staff member did inspect both rooms with me. She had excuses for most everything I pointed out. e.g. saucers have tea droppings still as the guests don't wash them properly. Towels are stained due to guests polishing their shoes, light switches have marks..."oh we don't worry about those" (they were behind a curtain, but were the main bedroom switch- GERMS ! ). The only thing she didn't have an excuse for was the toilet. It had poo splat on its rim. She came back to clean it herself.
    BTW, while I was in the office to make my complaint, another guest was doing precisely the same thing. For $99. I expect better.Dirty walls, ok.. dirty bathroom sink, hair in shower, unbrushed toilet, hair on pillowcase, stained towels, very smeary mirrors...NO!
