Been our fav & thus our only fish n chip shop in 2yrs. Until today. Had previously always been the best for crunchy chips, fresh fish, good service. Sadly, tonight our chips are oil sodden, more burnt than cooked & a strange mixture of crinkle cut/ straight cut. very disappointing for weekly regulars. Will be taking chips back in to show owner. Hopefully it's better next time .

So disappointing. The quality of food is so inconsistent. $7 worth of chips looked more like $2. We won't be returning unfortunately. -

My family have been going to Trawler Fresh Seafoods for take out every Friday night for as long as we can remember. The food is ALWAYS fresh, just as the name says and although it is really busy most Friday and Saturday nights, the staff are working extra fast to get the orders out on time. Love the crumbed cod, seafood sticks, calamari and chips are always cooked to perfection. We travel about 5klms to get there and believe me we are happy to do it for the great seafood. -

Honestly I have stopped going here the place is so hit and miss it's not funny. I bought the worst prawns I have ever eaten in Australia at this place. I have found places that do better fish and chips that don't simply ride on an undeserved "good reputation" -

This is the best seafood shop in Brisbane!
I have been getting my fish and chips from here for many many years and they never disappoint! Great price and fantastic service! Keep up the excellent work! :) -

This IS the best fish and chips shop on the northside of Brisbane. Fresh product, fresh oil = great fish and chips! Best to phone ahead to pre-order otherwise you could be waiting a while during busy periods. Only gripe I have is that Management could improve customer service by signing designated areas i.e. one for pick-up orders, one for customers wanting to buy fresh seafood only and another for walk-in fresh/cooked orders. A few times I have been there during busy periods and customers are confused where to line up to be served and/or getting frustrated as other people jump the line who aren't to know!!
Come on Trawler Fresh Seafoods - you CAN be No. 1 in Brisbane with a little signage!! -

Sometimes it takes some thirty years to find a business that is just exceptionally good at one thing. It IS the Best in Brisbane. Never judge a book by its cover- you will not be disappointed by what your taste buds tell you. Fish you have never had exists here - and I travel from the south side to get my Hit. Not open Mondays- closes about 7 - 7.30 pm and you WILL wait for your slice of heaven
