This is by far one of the top notch cafes in Ballarat, even better than the Pavillion on the Lake. Considering the quality of the food and service it is also pretty good value. The atmosphere in the old turret building is sensational. My only gripes were that there are no menus on the table - you have to ask the staff for a menu and it can get a bit crowded inside on a cold day.

Friendly, fast service and warm atmosphere. The cakes are delicious, especially the lemon macadamia cake.... yummy!

Five stars to the lovely Amanda and her staff at the Turret Cafe. What a breath of fresh air and the coffee and cake was "to die for". The service was fast, efficient and the cost reasonable - I'll be back.
