    This is one of my "never fail" pub lunch spots. The food is always excellent - the burgers are my personal favourite - but I've never heard anyone complain about their meal regardless of what they've ordered. It's usually really busy but there's never a long wait.

    Love this place on a Friday night, the retro music can be a bit hit and miss but there is always lots of cute girls and it's not too crowded so you don't have to worry about lining up to get in. There are two huge couches which are basically like beds however dont fall asleep on them otherwise you will get kicked out. There is a beer garden at the back and some tables and chairs outside the front for the smokers. The Union also has a restaurant although I cant comment on the food because Ive never eaten there. The bar is also quite accessible, not one of those places where you have to wait for hours to get served. If youre looking for a place to go on a Friday night with a nice vibe, lots of eye candy but not too busy then this place is worth checking out.
