I\'ve never tried their cakes, came here for classes only & I was totally disappointed! I booked for the Wilton cake decorating basic course for $199. There were 4 classes & each class was 2hrs. The cost of the course was quite reasonable but I was very surprised with the extra cost for the additional kits required for the course. It would be more helpful if the booking website had listed out the required additional kits and roughly how much. This would help me to budget better and or at least I\'d have more time to shop around for the kits. To find out about this at the end of the first class just left me with no choice. The instructor, was very friendly but they spent too much time on talking about themselves. I was not happy with the format & teaching. We spent too much time on highlighting the instructions from the book which could had been done at home before the classes. Demonstration from the instructor was very thorough. However, when its our turn to try the new skills was always rush because we always ran out of time. we were told to practice at home instead. Prior to every class was very stressful because we had to prepare buttercream in different colours & cake\/ 6cupcakes. However, by end of the class I just came home with partially decorated cake or one decorated cupcake out of 6 because the\'d never gave us enough time to decorate them properly. I learnt some skills but feel like there could have been more. I thought may be they just strictly followed the teaching format from Wilton so I decided to give them another chance by buying the $19 voucher for frangipani & butterfly class. Thought their format would be different & more complete. Before the class I had such a high hope. thought I would make a few flowers & butterflies in the class which can be used for my mums birthday cake. Big disappointment!! All we did was rolling the gum paste, cutting out leaves, butterflies& petals by using the cutters. We didn\'t have a chance to colour them or how to arrange flowers, leaves& butterflies on a cake ourselves, as stated in the voucher. They did a very quick demo & told us if for more information just read the handouts or check on the website. Once again, I came home with unfinished products. Taking classes at cake studio was really wasting my time & money.
