I would like to share with everybody specially with the owners my really bad experience with a Staff member.

Really arrogant, unprepared, irresponsible and rude with own staff and the worst ... with the customers !!
How is that possible ? leader who's supposed to be the example.

I was one of them and I'm not alone, I've talked to other people ( around 6 acquaintances ) and they all think the same and have experienced this really bad customer service.

I used to love spend my arvos at Vapiano but now I can tell I wont feel good being served badly anymore by staff like this.

Thats a shame a really good place with an amazing and delicious pasta like Vapiano with no control about its customer service.

    Hope this help.

The food was good and the portions were nice and small - great for those watching their weight. I would definitely avoid friday nights and lunch times unless you want to spend ages waiting. Sunday night is good as it is quiet.

Vapiano, A family restaurant. Hmm... let me think of some other family restaurants I know... perhaps McDonald's?

Well come to mention it, many people may be unsurprised to learn its actually run by some of the very people that run the highly repuitable
McDonalds chain here in Australia. Unsurprising as well frankly its terrible.
I am very well aware that some people are happy to pay $14 (at least I checked the menu) but maybe there are a few things you should know before totally wasting your time and money.

Firstly I would like to talk about the service. There isnt any. But don't worry the savings made there definitely wont be passed on to you. Basically how this works is simple. Like McDonald's you are expected to line up sometimes for as much as 30 mins to get a meal that takes less the 5 mins to prepare. I had an experience where I waited for all of my friends to finish eating before I even got my meal. This 'hip' experiance where service is replaced by a veil of cool reduce vapiano to a overpriced fastfood outlets.

Next the quality. Truely worthy of the unqualified staff that prepare it. Expect your pizza to be full of holes and cold by the time you manage to fight through the crowd to get it. Fortunatly I was able to enjoy the invigerating experiance of lining up for a pasta whilst I waited for my friends pizza to be cooked... well not cooked but made. Whilst I was in line I was watching the staff as productive as any McDonald's crew they were full at it and entirely unproductive without a manager in sight. It was a truly enlightining experiance and I will never eat there again.

So please for your own sake don't be sucked into the hype of this sudo-resturant that treats customers with no respect and less for the food.

      Dear SPCRNA's,
I am extremely disappointed that you feel that way. We pride ourselves on our service and the quality of our food and obviously we let you down on the day. Would love you to come in and meet me and I will 'shout' you lunch and show you how it should be.
      Regards

I can't believe it has taken me so long to try Vapiano! The idea behind the restaurant is great- actually watching the chef cook my pasta was a real treat and he was lovely and chatting whilst cooking. I ordered the Pollo E Spinaci and DEFINITELY recommend! My partner ordered a pizza and claims it was the best he has ever had which is a big call! The atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant was lovely- the little basil plants on the tables, warm lighting and chic furniture added up to a wonderful experience. I will most certainly be going back!
