A great pub, warm and inviting family hotel , large dining area with a huge fire (winter) great menu of basics, modestly priced and well prepared and presented, friendly professional staff providing cheery service. I have eaten here several times now and it has never dissapointed, good sized servings, broad menu, quiet warm and friendly. Best pub in town..

  Our experience in Jan2012 very different- very overpriced meals -29.50 for an ordinary steak fatty chips thrown on the plate, the veges were mainly boiled capsicum with one piece of carrot,slice of brocolli. Steak cooked in fat tasted of uncleaned grill. Entree 13 for 2 slices of cold brushetta , old cutlery left on table from entree. Soft drinks flat and poured from bottles,ran out of ice. The staff poured the drink, when it looked flat they drank some to confirm it was then opened another bottle of "Lift"!. A very ordinary overpriced pub that we (4 of us) would not bother with again.
