At the Victorian Bar School, the trainers really want you to succeed. They do everything they can to make sure you get the most out of your course as possible. A comprehensive learning environment, great equipment, and valuable industry knowledge are just some of the things you can expect when you come to the Victorian Bar School. They have everything from cocktails to coffee making, bar tending to waiting, food handling and RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling). If you want a foot in the door in hospitality, I would definitely recommend the Victorian Bar School.

I attended the Victorian Bar School from 24th February - 8th March 2013, and to say it was an invaluable experience is not enough. I obtained so much practical and theoretical knowledge and experience from the Complete Hospitality Training Program; my teachers Dan, Simon and Sam were all excellent, knowledgable, friendly and relatable, as well as highly engrossing and funny. I obtained my Victorian RSA Certificate as well as my Interstate RSA Certificate, as well as experience working behind a bar, waiting experience and espresso machine operation. What I loved most of all was the friendly atmosphere and learning how to make cocktails! I would highly recommend this course - as well as this school - to anyone wishing to enter the Hospitality Industry, or to those who wish to brush up on old skills already learned. Cheers VBS!

The Victorian Bar School was not only a fun, memorable and exciting new experience. It has also qualified and equipped me with the right skills & knowledge, training & confidence needed to jump straight into the hospitality industry with no prior experience before the two-week course.

This course has defiantly given me a bigger and better outlook on the entire hospitality industry. Ive learnt a vast range of topics within the industry ranging from bartending to waiting to coffee to the process of financial transactions to food safety, and each and everyone of these areas have been interesting and fun in there own way.

The trainers/teachers create a fun learning environment that is extremely interactive. Youre always up out of your seats making cocktails or coffees, or having a chat with one of the twenty in the group. No matter what youre up to youll always have someone to chat to because thats the kind of environment it is. The trainers are so enthusiastic about what they teach, which gives you the will and want to drive yourself to do the best you can do.

It has been a great experience and starting point for me personally, especially for the years to come. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking at jumping into the hospitality industry, its quick, fun, challenging and extremely rewarding and at the end of it you come out with a certificate in cert II hospitality, skills and knowledge and a whole new bunch of friends.

Over my last two weeks at Victorian Bar School, I have gained so many brand new skills and qualifications, and huge amounts of knowledge that will help absolutely anyone break into the hospitality industry. I have met some truly fantastic people, not only in my classmates, who made everyday an absolute blast, but also in the knowledgeable, and definitely entertaining teachers. It was so great to get a real taste for the industry, with lots of practical and hands on training. There was never a boring or slow moment in those classrooms. I've gained a lot of confidence in my work skills, and wold definitely recommend this course to anyone seeking a job in any part of the hospitality industry.

Two weeks that not only will provide you with skills that can help you get a position in hospitality around the world but become highly employable in Melbourne with certificates in not only responsible service of alcohol but Food Handling Supervisor Certificate and Responsible Service of Gaming. The course offers full introductions into waiting and coffee making with all key areas taught theoretically and physically. With great staff with stacks of experience easy to access location and only 150 dollars its the best hospitality course around

I just finished a rigorous two week course where I completed a series of Cert II areas in bartending, coffee-making, waiting and more. I highly recommend this school to young people starting out in hospitality.

    Hi,
Tomorrow will be the last day of my 2 week hospitality course I have studied at the Victorian Bar School. This hospitality course has been fun, challenging, exciting and the best part about it was meeting new people from all around Melbourne and Victoria. This hospitality course have given me new skills and knowledge about; not serving highly intoxicated individuals, what the standard measure is for spirits and that there is all different types of cutlery for various types of dishes. I also loved the enthusiasm and willingness of all the trainers here, they really do drive you to achieve your best and give you as much knowledge as they can, so it helps individuals in the long run! This is definitely a great starting point for people who want to start their career in the hospitality industry, itll true benefit you for life!
