    On the second visit we purchased a large metal clock for $229 and were also interested in a chair. The staff said their products came from the same suppliers as Coco Republic, but sold for a lot less. And whilst they may be more expensive than competitors because they are higher quality. Villa has some nice products on display, so we believed them and paid the high price.

    Within an hour of purchasing we were surprised to find both of these products in Freedom, each for $100 less. On the Freedom website you can buy the same clock for $89.95 60% less than Villa!

    After complaining the shop assures us that they are from different suppliers. Perhaps, but I can assure them that the products are identical in every visual aspect, and not just close copies (we had the clock with us and have photos of the chair).

    They were not willing to give us a cash refund despite reporting the incident and our disappointment on the same afternoon. In their words no one forced you to buy. True, but I was specifically told we were getting high quality products, similar to (or the same as) Coco Republic not Freedom.

    So before buying from Villa I recommend you avoid our mistake by doing your homework and also looking in Freedom or other cheaper stores to see if you are paying 2.5x too much.
