    Delicious food but it took way too long to bring it out even though the place was almost empty. Would only go back again if I was not hungry and didn't mind waiting an hour or two for a meal.

    We too had wanted to go to this restaurant for a while so when they re-opened recently after a car ploughed through their window, we decided to try it.
    I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, its freshly made food and friendly staff made it a very enjoyable night. The food was tasty and not too heavy!
    I agree that the service is a little slow, but they cook all meals fresh and it's well worth the wait.
    Their Vietnamese is excellent and I definitely recommend the homemade ice-cream!

    We had hoped to go to Vindian for so long, having passed it so regularly on our travels. I thought naturally that Valentines Day would be the perfect occasion. Sadly all I can say is that our special date was ruined. Our entree came relatively soon after we ordered, but we waited 45 mins for our drinks that didn't arrive until we had to ask 2 separate waiting staff. We waited patiently for our mains but began to notice other tables getting frustrated, 2 tables waiting more than 30 minutes to even be served! After waiting 1 hour we began to ask how far away our mains were, only to be told they are "coming now". Adding to this frustration was that many surrounding tables who arrived long after us were receiving their food. After 1.5 hours we had had enough & left, arriving hungry & late for the rest of our Valentines Day plans. I strongly recommend that the staff at Vindian re-evaluate their organisational skills & customer service as 1.5 hours is an unacceptable serving time.
