Established 1984 in Brookvale after working in the suspension and steering industry at K-Mac Suspension for ten years and previous years with the family business, I was tempted to begin Wardsport initially as a suspension and steering specialist. Many of my customers persuaded me to do maintenance, service and repairs on their cars when needed. As a result Wardsport now offers many services including: - Log book servicing including major services and scheduled service - All mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches and of course suspension and steering - The latest scanner and fault finding equipment to diagnose faults in the electronics in todays cars All wheel alignments are done with German Beisbarth 4 wheel technology, who are the manufacturer?s recommended equipment for Porsche, BMW and Mercedes as well as other makers. If you drive a Porsche we have the factory wheel adaptors to suit late model Porsche wheels for more accuracy. For people who have race track cars or track cars we can also set up your vehicle for maximum grip by setting your car up with corner weight scales and ride height settings and track wheel alignment settings. Learned from many years experience both on and off the track. Wardsport is owner operated, offering personal and friendly service at competitive rates.

I have been using Wardsport for about a year now. The service is great, always keeps me informed of whats going on with the job, has a great eye to detail and makes sure everything is done correctly and efficiently. Very reliable mechanic that has the best rates in Sydney, really helpful with all questions I have and goes out of his way to help as much as he can. Mike is a most personable and approachable individual who has serviced and repaired our car for the last three years. We find him efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. He appears to have an empathy with cars and engines that enables him to effectively solve problems when they arise. Our car has never run better. Very happy customers. -

If you are searching for a good, reliable mechanic then Michael Ward is just the person for you. He is highly skilled, very reliable, extremely approachable, gives excellent service, listens carefully and gives expert explanations and advice. I have certainly been recommending him to my family and friends. -
I first discovered Wardsport when the NRMA had recommended them to me after I had repairs done by a smash repairer after a car accident and i felt that something still wasn't quite right after the repairs had been completed. Michael discovered the problem after I had given him very little information regarding the accident.
Consequently I have been taking my cars to Michael for the last 15 years and several of my friends also use Wardsport to look after their cars too. Michael is an exceptional mechanic and works with great skill and integrity and i would recommend him to anyone.
I have never had any problems with any of Michaels work and his attention to detail is second to none. -
I went to Wardsport partly on the basis of these reviews. I was looking for a more specialised service for an older imported car. Found it to be everything I'd hoped for. Well priced, Michael kept me well informed, and had great advice, and plenty of time for my questions.
I'll definitely continue going to Wardsport. -
I had taken my Porsche 986S to various workshops to have the cars geometry properly aligned, unfortunately this was a difficult task! I refused to pay for the various attempts as I wasn't happy with the vehicles behavior and the results.
To my luck I was recommended by my mechanic to see Michael @ Wardsport. So I contacted Michael and after a brief chat I was glad to hear that Michael has the original Porsche alignment equipment to correctly align the car utilising the axels. This is the best way to set the geometry as it eliminates any potential imperfections in the wheels that might be caused by a misfortunite impact, hit, scrape etc... Being the second owner of the vehicle it was also nice to verify that the vehicle didn't appear to have been in any major accidents as the geometry was within Porsche's specs.
The wheel alignment is bang on! The car is much more enjoyable to drive now.. I would recommend Michael's services to any Porsche owner. -

I have been using Michael Ward at Wardsport for several years now. He has done all wheel alignments on my Porsches over the past 6 or 7 years and he prepares my BMW for tarmac rallies. He is very knowledgeable, particularly on suspension settings and car handling generally. He has performed many repairs and modifications to my BMW rally car and I rely on him for his excellent service and expert advice. He is also capable of speaking in plain English and explains his work very well to the non-mechanically minded! His patience with me and my constant questions is exceptional. Whenever he is unsure (which is rare), he finds out. He has a great network of contacts to source expert information and the latest performance and after-market parts, plus genuine parts, of course. Michael is very accommodating of my needs and often liaises with others in the Brookvale area when my rally car has a series of repairs to be carried out at the same time. I know that he is well regarded by his competitors. It also helps that Michael races his own car, so he understands whats needed for a reliable and fast track or tarmac rally car. I dont hesitate to recommend Wardsport for anything from a regular service to performance modifications for a track or rally car. -

Mike is down to earth and straight forward with what is going on with your vehicle. We are always happy to recommend Wardsport to our friends or anyone who is looking for good service rates and quality handling of your vehicle service needs. The fact that he is located in Brookvale is just a bonus!
