Suspension and steering specialist. 

Established 1984 in Brookvale after working in the suspension and steering industry at K-Mac Suspension for ten years and previous years with the family business, I was tempted to begin Wardsport initially as a suspension and steering specialist. 

Many of my customers persuaded me to do maintenance, service and repairs on their cars when needed. As a result Wardsport now offers many services including:

- Log book servicing including major services and scheduled service

- All mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches and of course suspension and steering

- The latest scanner and fault finding equipment to diagnose faults in the electronics in todays cars

All wheel alignments are done with German Beisbarth 4 wheel technology, who are the manufacturer?s recommended equipment for Porsche, BMW and Mercedes as well as other makers. 

If you drive a Porsche we have the factory wheel adaptors to suit late model Porsche wheels for more accuracy.

For people who have race track cars or track cars we can also set up your vehicle for maximum grip by setting your car up with corner weight scales and ride height settings and track wheel alignment settings. Learned from many years experience both on and off the track.

Wardsport is owner operated, offering personal and friendly service at competitive rates.

    Highly recommend Mike at Wardsport. He is very thorough, professional and helpful. I actually got an unsolicited compliment on how well-maintained internally my decade-old car is and asked who my regular mechanic is, by another mechanic (I was out of town with my car and needed a pink slip so had to go somewhere local there). When an independent professional compliments another professional's work - you can be sure you're onto a good thing! With Wardsport, I know my car is in good hands.

    When it comes to wheel alignments and suspension, you can't get any better than Michael !

    I've been taking all my street & track cars to Mike for 13 years and all have been spot-on!

    If you want a certain amount of degree's of alignment he will give it to you and if your car is completely fitted-out with fully adjustable arms/rods this isn't a problem either unlike the usual tyre fitting shops.

    Wow! Just collected my car from another service at Wardsport. Driving away it is so obviously smoother and sharper! - as always. So grateful. And impressed. Have immense respect for the skill, fine-ness and integrity of Michael and his work colleague. Unassuming and quietly excellent. Friendly, gracious and respectful. Full of skill and substance. Impressed. Love it!
    Wardsport have been taking care of my car for some years now after a very high recommendation from an auto engineer at the top of his field. Was a high quality recommendation to a very high quality outfit. Very, very happy.

    I won't take my car to anyone but Michael, he is honest, a great mechanic and won't rip you off - he has been looking after my cars, my parents and sisters cars and many I have recommended to him for lots of years all of whom are very happy customers.

    I am very happy with Michael Ward's work. He repaired steering problems that 3 others gave up on. pricing very reasonable, speedy work, simple language. Wardsport expertise in action is a joy to watch.

    Mike is a most personable and approachable individual who has serviced and repaired our car for the last three years. We find him efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. He appears to have an empathy with cars and engines that enables him to effectively solve problems when they arise. Our car has never run better. Very happy customers.

He is highly skilled, very reliable, extremely approachable, gives excellent service, listens carefully and gives expert explanations and advice.     I first discovered Wardsport when the NRMA had recommended them to me after I had repairs done by a smash repairer after a car accident and i felt that something still wasn't quite right after the repairs had been completed. Michael discovered the problem after I had given him very little information regarding the accident.

    Consequently I have been taking my cars to Michael for the last 15 years and several of my friends also use Wardsport to look after their cars too. Michael is an exceptional mechanic and works with great skill and integrity and i would recommend him to anyone.

    I have never had any problems with any of Michaels work and his attention to detail is second to none.
