Absolutely terrific! The staff were wonderful and so was the vet - my cat was very very ill, and they done everything to squeeze us in on a fully booked out sunday. Their prices are VERY reasonable and they are very loving and have genuine care for your animal, you can tell they're not just there for the money. Definately my new vet.
Colin has been our Vet for 30 years. He has seen us through the care of my childhood dogs Tessie and Sheba, my family of cats the cats we rescued [35 of them] and his care, assessment diagnosis and treatment and humanity is beyond exceptional. He has always been there when we have rescued injured wildlife and birds and his team go out of their way to assist. His team are wonderful and always welcome me . They have gone beyond their roles in looking after my babies in their last weeks and moments and we have shared many a tear. They have cuddled me when I have lost it on the death of my Ginger or Wardrobe or Gravy. When I attend the clinic and wait in the waiting area with many other satisfied families we happily chat and share stories. We are a family at the Clinic and this sense of commitment is led by Col and his team. I would like to bottle it and take it with me as we move to Victoria for I fear I will never find another professional service like this for my family.
I totally disagree with the last review.I have been taking my cat to Warrawong for the last couple of months. He needed eye surgery, I didnt have the money that week to have it done. Colin really thought that it should be done sooner so he did it and arranged an account for me. The first time I walked in the door. I have NEVER met a more caring, compassionate vet. His prices are the most reasonable I have ever come accross. He would never turn an animal away that needed urgent care. There are hours when animals arent seen, when Dr Pinney is in surgery. I dont go to my doctors without an appointment, why would a vets be different?
I just had the most appalling treatment by the staff at this clinic. I purchased a puppy three weeks ago and recieved a card telling me that he needed to get his next injection this week. I live some distance from the clinic and as I don't have a car we walked there. Nobody was waiting in the waiting room, so we went in. Apparently I need to make an appointment for the dog to have his injection. The female behind the counter said that if they didn't make appointments that they would never get away. A load of "BS" to me. Not one person waiting, one person came out from the vet and I have to make an appointment. NOT HAPPY, so we made the appointment and the pup and I walked home.
There is NO MENTION of having to make an appointment on the card I got from the pet shop. There is a date that he needs to go back to the Vet but nothing about appointments.
To pipersline...its common sense to call up and at least check if you have to make an appointment. This vets always been good to us. You could have gone anywhere and they would have said the same thing. Dont have a go at good vet for your own mistakes. YOUR the one who decided to go there without calling to check first. YOUR the one who didnt use common sense, just because your are angry because you had to walk a long way to get there for no reason dont take it out on them. They are an excellent vet clinic in my experience. They've always helped us and if they couldnt its not because they dont want to.
i think there a wonderful clinic and i travel from corrimal to go there rather than wollongong vets and corrimal, there prices are alot cheaper as well, and most other vets you can tell there only there for the money, warrawong vet you can tell there there for the love of your pet and to help them, i recommend this vet to everyone and i think pipersline is very stupid for not making a appointment, ive never herd of a vet not making a booking, its just like the doctors make u book unless u wanna go to hospital or in this case a emergancy with ur pet and pay extra!
Never been to this vet, just moved to the area and wanted to see who the best was. But I would never consider just showing up to a vets and expect to be seen without an appointment.
Just because there is no one in the waiting room doesn't mean they aren't busy. All the consulting vets were probably with their scheduled appointments.
