    I had my engagement party at Waterfront Venues Melbourne in the Black Sail Bar in March 2012 and it was absolutely amazing! The food was brilliant, with a large range of hot and cold canapes served as well as, grazing dishes which were very generous in size. The service was great and all the guests commented on how wonderful everything was. Thanks Waterfront Venues Melbourne for making our day so special. I will definitely be recommending you to others in the future!

    We had our corporate Christmas party at Waterfront Venues Docklands (the waterfront room) on Friday night (05/12/2011). Service was horrendous had one wait staff serving 70+ guests drinks, and this particular wait staff was extremely rude. Food was OK but very very slow to come out had to wait half an hour between meals for some strange reason. Canapes during cocktail hour were horrible, tasted as though had been sitting out for hours. The events management was not helpful, and seemed annoyed every time they were asked to do something, very unprofessional. As for the room, Very dirty and out dated. Cutlery hadn\'t been cleaned properly before hand and toilets were absolutely dirty due to other functions being held that night, there was no toilet paper by 10pm. On the night of our event there were two other Xmas parties booked (overbooked themselves) and all three venues were so close to each other you couldn\'t talk without yelling. Speeches couldn\'t even be heard from a microphone. Anyway if looking at booking with this particular venue DON\'T ! This place is not even worth the half star I gave it...
