    I showed up here this week, to go to the work Christmas party, and have to say, I had such a good time!

    Someone at work organised the Christmas party for mid-week, and it was great to miss the usual busier nights of the week and really get looked after, on a week night.

    The food was ridiculously good, great staff (really nice) and the place had a nice layout and setting. I have heard people having first date, weddings, & anniversaries here, and now I can see why.

    Considering the Christmas Party is one of the few occasions were the boss makes considerable allowances on the expense account, it is comfortable for all of us to order whatever we like.

    Intern, I thought I might order lots of little dishes. I started with the Thai beef salad and some spring rolls for entree, Tiger Prawn & Chicken Fettuccini for main, a few drinks in between and finished with a cake, some ice cream & a cappuccino.

    A good banquet, a few drinks & a laugh, can be soo satisfying.

    Went to a birthday dinner here recently and was very dissapointed. Seating was very cramped, the food was not very nice, could get better chicken at a pub and teh vegies that accompanied it were not cooked properly which was suprising as we waited 2 hours for our mains. Two of the other guests had their meals messed up with the wrong order brought out. The dessert was nothing special, the mudcake looking suspciciously like it was bought downstairs nextdoor at cheesecake shop. Service was very average. WIll avoid this place in the future.

    Dined here recently to try something local and the pricing was actually decent to average. However the food was not fresh at all, it tasted somewhat old and stale and I'm not that much of a fussy eater. The service felt like you were not being looked after as the staff seemed to be busy and not caring for the customers individual needs. I rarely complain but I think this restaurant lacks professionalism and the service is almost non existent. The outside of the restaurant is also uninviting and quite ancient looking. The drinks on the other hand was ok, but I would have preferred actual coca cola.

    We had a anniversary at The White Swan lately. I was so impressed about the fantastic staff and customer service. The food was also delicious. I'd love to hold events there, such a wonderful place to enjoy

    Was very pleased with both the effiency and hospitality of the staff the food was well portioned and delicous for a reasonable price no complaints what so ever would recomend to anyone would also seem like a very reasonable place for a function or event

    We attended a birthday function at the White Swan last weekend and were quite disappointed by the quality of the food and the out-dated decor. The staff were friendly and kind, but clearly not enthusiastic about working there.

    Perhaps we were expecting too much from the White Swan based on other feedback previously provided by others here, but we were quite disappointed. We just hope the birthday girl enjoyed the food and decor more than us.

    Our 3 course meal started with some breads on the table and entre (of calamari rings) which was a great start. The bread was tasty and fresh out of the pizza oven. The calamaris were deep fried, I so guess hard to get wrong. Unfortunately the mains and desserts let them down dramatically. The veal dish my husband had was very sloppy and reminded us of poor wedding food. The fish dish I had was no better with some of the vegetables on the plate undercooked and far too crunchy. We were not the only ones disappointed with the food quality as we overheard some of the other guests at our table also complaining. The dessert at the end was no better with cheesecake that seemed like it was bought at the corner store and not made in-house. Overall not a very great dining experience. Hopefully they take our feedback on-board to improve their restaurant in the future.

    I normally love going to the white swan but last night (Saturday) I went to celebrate my 22nd birthday and my mum had booked previously but they did not have us down. It took 2 hours until I receive my main meal and I left before I even got to my desert as I knew this would have taken another hour. The food was good but I don't believe the cost added up as I only had vegetables and it was $24, I had to come home and make myself a sandwich. It was good how they offered complementary drinks yet they need more staff and more cooks. I don't think I'll be going there on a Saturday night again.
