Set among towering mountain ash and tree ferns, Wild Orchid is a one off exclusive cottage. From the outside, the cottage is enchanting. The interior is modern, elegant and comfortable.  The cottage is ideally located between the beautiful villages of Olinda and Mt Dandenong, so you are close to everything but away from it all. The villages are famous for fabulous boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, antiques and much more.  Just a short scenic drive will take you to Puffing Billy steam train, Sky High Observatory and maze, and the Yarra Valley wine region or you can simply enjoy the natural surroundings of the national state forest.  Take walks; feed the Rosellas, King Parrots and cockatoos. There are several superb gardens and walks that we can share with you. Alternatively you can use the walking maps provided to explore on your own. You may be fortunate enough to see wallabies, kangaroos and lyre birds all in their natural habitat.  Upon arrival you shall be given your unique key code entry & fluffy slippers, complimentary port and chocolates, then its up to you. Everything you need for a day or a week is in the cottage.  If however, you do require anything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, please do not hesitate to ask. We can arrange many optional extras such as massages, special dinner packages, flowers etc. We have a superb range of wines for sale in the cottage, with French champagne and speciality beers on request.
