    I booked a Sunday afternoon function here for 50 people, and ordered platters of food plus BBQ. Even with low expectations of the food I was still let down - dinner rolls that hadn't been put in the oven so they basically taste like dough they were served in the 'savoury rolls' platter, and cut up in chunks for the breads and dips platter... no body touched them, just a waste of money!
    They then told us we had to pay for bowls even though I had been told by two of their staff the bowls was free when I booked the function - was very rude but said we could 'get away with it this time'... then they overcharged for the BBQ and I couldn't be bothered arguing with staff so I ended up further out of pocket.
    I had booked the location so the kids would have something to do as well, but then on the day I was told the policy had recently changed and the kids weren't allowed on the green - I booked it primarily for the kids!!!
    I had booked the BBQ for 5pm, then on the day they told us no bowls is allowed past 5.30, they didn't mention that when I booked it!
    The whole day was very let down by a slack venue who are set up to serve regulars their beers and not interested in hosting a function or encouraging return customers - $1,000 wasted, should have gone some where professional.
