We had a few things to move literally from one street to another within one area (10min walk). There was a truck with a driver and two removalist. They were incredibly slow and did't look professional in what they were doing. It looked like someone was cutting costs there.
Ended up charging me their 3 hours rate for 2.5hr job ($120/hr). Damaged and soiled couple of pieces as well (noticed later).
I'm very unhappy with my experience. I only chose them because they seemed like a small local business I usually try to support. Well, not anymore.

Excellent service. We had a big move going to two different places and everything was carried out in a professional and friendly manner. All items were properly packed and labelled to the right addresses. The boys were very active and polite. I was happy I met Wolfgang himself who showed great care and attention to my mother's antiques and furniture. I Highly recommend Wolfgang's Movers. -

I would NEVER recommend this moving company to anyone. I have never experienced such shocking service in my life.
I emailed them in regards to a quote for a small move that was happening. As I was not able to make any phone calls I responded to their call with a text message. They offered me their usual prices and I was wondering in there was any room for negotiation. They responded with a slightly lower price and asked me if I wanted to confirm the booking. I told them that I would need to speak to my partner but would get back to them in the next few hours.
As most people do, you shop around for different quotes and try and negotiate the best deal. I informed them that I received a better deal then the one they offered me and I asked if they would be prepared to offer the same price. If they would agree to this price I would be happy to use them. I sent them this message 2 1/2 hours after they told me that they had the time available and could do it. quickly told them I would have to speak to my partner and then I would get back to them ASAP.
The response to that was shocking:
Wolfgang Movers - "Oh sorry lol, we been booked. Thanks"
Customer - "Oh that's interesting. You don't give your customers much time. Shame"
Wolfgang Movers - "We don't work for peanuts anyway"
Customer ; "Wow rude too! Remind me never to recommend you. That was an offer I received from a legitimate moving company. It's your customers right to shop around, and ask questions"
Wolfgang Movers - "Ok, call them quick. Or keep shopping around you may be ending up carrying the furniture yourself. Why you booked it with us if you have a quote for 40$ bucks. Good Luck"
I myself work in a customer facing role and would never interact with a paying customer in this way. If this in the type of feedback that I would receive from a customer I would be in serious trouble. I can't get my head around the fact that anyone thinks this is an OKAY way of dealing with customers.
To conclude: I WILL NEVER BE RECOMMENDING OR USING THEIR SERVICES, and I hope you think twice before contacting them.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS
They brought 3 guys instead of 2 (to move two bedrooms worth of property) and said they would get the job done more quickly but I would be charged more. So when they asked for $543 for a two hour job, I thought it was excessive, but I trusted them somewhat as I had used them twice before and I didn't have a calculator handy so I paid. Soon after they left I visited the website which said it should be $180.50 per hour for three men + half hour call out, so I should have been charged $453... I thought the driver must have just calculated incorrectly so I phoned to notify and asked to be refunded.
The owner asked me to text my account details for a refund. He then phoned and offered to move a fridge (whose fridge I don't know) instead of refunding them money. He also told me that the driver said they were there for 2.5 hours, and in between swallowing whatever he was eating he scoffed and said he's not going to argue over $100.... but continued to argue.
By the end of the phonecall he told me that they don't owe me anything because I needed to pay the tolls for the driver to get to the first house just like in a cab and then the tolls to get to the new house (there are no tolls to the new house.) When I told him I didn't pay tolls the other two times and he told me that then I owe HIM $120 in tolls and petrol from the previous moves and said that he wouldn't be in business if he didn't charge people petrol and tolls on top of the hourly rate.
I then phoned him back the next day to give him the opportunity to say he would refund the money before I spread the word about his dodginess and he said that the driver now says it was a 3 hour job so he owes me nothing. I said if it were a 3 hour job + half hour call out that would be $598 so clearly someone is lying. And if it takes 3 men and two women (as my sister and I helped both load and unload the truck) 3 hours to move 2 bedrooms, I would hate to move an entire house with them.
Long story short, I got burned by these so hopefully you don't too!
