The food is a good standard (although the food in the German restaurant at the Hubertus Club in Luddenham is better). The menu is somewhat limited/unexciting but authentic German/Swiss and I can always find something appealing. Service is OK. The premises are down an alleyway off Bowral main street and are clean & pleasant but the location is unspectacular

Forget stodgy German food, this is a refined, excellent, yet totally authentic cuisine. The knuckles (Schweinehaxen) are as good as any I have had in Munich.

Friendly sensible service. Casual, yet not totally informal.

Forget Sydney City. This is one of the best German Restaurants outside of Deutschland.
