Lunch for 2 on a beautiful Saturday. We both had the catch of the day Blue Eye Trevally and Mahi Mahi (from Mooloolaba thanks to a knowledgeable waiter). It was server with tender tasty combo of asian vegetables on a bed at jasmine rice with and sauce to die for.
Serve was attentive and very quick, everyone still on the beach which was nice to have some quiet in the air con. What made the lunch was the friendly staff a two great dishes that let you know you have been to a great restaurant -

My girlfriend and I went into Yellowfin for our 1 year anniversary, we ordered some of the Oyster shots, they were sensational, was a little reluctant at first but the door girl sold us so we had to come in, freshest fish I've had in years. -

As a foodie at heart I read a ton of reviews before going to Yellowfin Seafood Restaurant, most reviews critiqued the price of the food. However, I beg to differ, the meal is of generous portion sizes, and it's prepared elegantly and to perfection. I'd rather pay $5 extra for fresh seafood, then mundane fish. The service was top notch and they also have a nice selection of wines to go with your meal, try the Barra its quite satisfying. A great experience overall, would definitely recommend it to others -

Had a great meal at Yellowfin the other night. I had reef cod which was a special and it was simply fantastic, served on a crab and chorizo risotto. My wife had the bugs and prawns special which was equally awesome.
What really made the night special, however, was the service. The guys were super friendly, offered great menu suggestions and really made us feel welcome. We will be back!! -

had a great night at Yellowfin seafood restaurant Broadbeach last night; it was pretty cold so we decided to sit under the heater; so hot we could have cooked our fish there and then; lucky we didn't or we would have missed out o the swordfish and mahi mahi we had; really good; melt in your mouth type; beer battered fries were beautiful but idid tell the waiter they could have been a bit hotter; he agreed; overall a fantastic experience and we washed it all down with too much white wine, again!!! -

we just happened to come upon Yellowfin seafood restaurant last wednesday night; was reluctant a little as the door girl was telling us how good it was; we were really hungry so gave it a shot; unblievable; freshest fish i have had in years; maybe the chef caught it that afternoon; i had snapper and my girlfriend loved the wild barramundi; a little slow coming but they were busy i suppose; highly reccommend it if you are on the Gold Coast and want great seafood. cheers -

Thankyou to John and the team at Yellowfin We had a great night and hats off to the Chef.. We loved the Barra, and can't wait to come back and try more of those tempting dishes. The new fresh menu is fantastic. Definately the best seafood on the coast. -

Having eaten at Yellowfin before and enjoyed it, I was bitterly disappointed today to have both by snapper and my husbands barramundi overcooked and dryed out! For a speciality seafood restaurant it was terrible.
On todays performance there are lots better seafood restaurants on the Gold Coast than Yellowfin!
On the positive side the waitress was helpful and the bread and dips were good
