Normally I don't read previous reviews before I post my own review, as it helps to be impartial. However, it saddens me that people have been complaining that Youi has been slow to process claims.
I have first hand experience with Youi, not only am I a customer of over 5+ years with them, I too had the unfortunate circumstance where I needed to make a claim. I logged my claim online, to get a phone call follow up that same day and have my vehicle booked in with a certified repairer that same day also.
A week later, it was in the workshop, 7 days after, I'm collecting my vehicle. Now to be honest, from point of call to point of collection, 14 days turn around time is really not that bad. I've heard horror stories with other insurance companies taking weeks to months to just repair a vehicle.
The service I received was excellent, cannot fault them. Every time I call to get quotes, review my renewals or to change address details, I'm presented with polite and cheerful telephone operators.
By far the best Insurance Company I have ever dealt with.
You are the worst insurance company to work with. Someone insured with you hit my car, even though the person paid their excess straight away you took three months to authorize the claim so my car could be repaired. My advice: find a panel beater to do a third party recovery against them. It will cost you more, your car will be repaired straight away & you can also have a loan car that you have to pay for.
When our Mazda was involved in a collision, the tow truck company said they were slow to progress claims. I have to say that I've found this to be completely untrue. They've contacted us daily, emailed updates and been thorough, friendly and relieved so much stress. And they saved us a bit of $ at the same time.
